What’s New:
Version 5.11.6
Initial Support for MacOS 14 (Sonoma)
Airfoil now has initial compatibility with the forthcoming MacOS 14 (Sonoma), with no known issues.
Improvements in ACE 11.9.4
The Audio Capture Engine (ACE) has been updated to 11.9.4, with compatibility for MacOS 14 (Sonoma), correct capture of audio from Xcode Playgrounds, and many smaller improvements for even more reliable audio capture.
New “Permissions” Window
The “Airfoil” menu now includes a new “Permissions” window, to easily enable the “Microphone Access” permissions. These permissions are required for Airfoil to stream audio from microphones and other input devices you specify.
Minor adjustments have been made to global shortcuts in the “Settings” window, to provide better tooltips and a correct cancel (X) button.
Track Titles scripts are once again correctly read from all specified locations, correcting an error where scripts in the user’s home folder would fail to be picked up by Airfoil.
Airfoil’s “About” box now includes MacOS version at the bottom.
